Texas Ebony known botanically as Pithecellobium flexicaule is a sun-loving, drought tolerant tree that have strong canopies, able to tolerate strong winds. Their twisting branches, give them personality and make them easily distinguishable when placed among other trees.
Growing moderately, Texas Ebony can perform well in hot climates, because they are native to the Chihuahuan desert and can accept a large variety of desert soils. Their blooms are cream colored during the spring to fall months, creating a beautiful display.
