Giant Bird of Paradise (Strelitzia Nicolai)

Strelitzia Nicolai, also known as Giant White Bird of Paradise, is native to the evergreen coastal forests of Eastern South Africa. 

It is widely sold as an indoor plant, rarely produces flowers indoors, producing flowers mostly outdoors.

If you are looking for a low maintenance, fast growing plant, this is it, growing up to 3 feet per year. Make sure to plant in partial sun or shady areas.

It is a great addition to give any landscape a tropical flair!
